Deadends in life
Every now and then a fast-paced life comes to a standstill, at least, that's what happens to me. Living between to opposite worlds, like the ends of a magnet always have made me realise one thing if not more: I have a long way to go. Each trip from one end to the other forces me to face up the pressure of this competitive world, and face the fact: The ladder has grown a few more inches.
Most of the times, one is on life's road without many diversions. It's easy to decide which way to go, but sometimes, when you're the least prepared, there's construction in progress on many of the roads, they're not closed, you can still pass, but with a lot of apprehension.
You begin to question everything. Did you start on a wrong journey in the first place? Why wasn't this forecasted? Why did you decide to travel alone? Did the cell phone have to die right now... Who will help you decide the shortest path to your destination?
In short, all this isn't avoidable. You know you HAVE to move on, otherwise the traffic behind you will start honking. Because you are your own guide, it's possible you end up in a wrong place. Sometimes, even the taxis do not want to stop to answer your question. You feel rejected.
And the most important lesson from rejection is: Patience.
For all of you feeling down and dejected: Please be patient. We all want a sneak peak into the future, but because we dont know what's in store, we can do our part and hope it's something for the best.
